Drying System Analysis

The efficiency of modern high-speed tissue machines is strongly coupled to the performance of the high-velocity aircap. PROdry Technology offers a comprehensive analysis of the complete drying system to assist mills in developing drying strategies and optimizing energy efficiency. PROdry's analysis includes a complete thermodynamic analysis of the hood/yankee system using data collected during normal operation. Measurements of air flows, temperatures, humidity, yankee condensing rates, and combustion data are combined with sheet consistencies (obtained from samples of the sheet after the pressure roll and the crepe blade) to determine the operating parameters of the system. The result can be used to evaluate:
